Zachary Alan Ritchie, born August 25, 1993, in Moca, Puerto Rico, passed away unexpectedly on December 7, 2025.

Zachary was the beloved son of Mark Ritchie and the late Ana Laura Ritchie, and a cherished brother to Anabel Gonzales with Steven and Kimberly Douroux with Joe. He was a proud and loving uncle to Isabella Gonzales, Ezra Gonzales, and Juliana Douroux, who brought him endless joy.

Zachary attended Houlton High School and later graduated from the University of Maine, earning a bachelor’s degree in education. His love for helping others shaped much of who he was.

Music was one of Zachary’s greatest passions. Whether it meant driving hours or hopping on a plane across the country, he never hesitated to chase the energy and connection of a good concert with friends. He also loved spending time on the golf course—always happy to play a full 18 holes, but just as content to sneak in 9 when that’s all the day allowed.

He was known for his humor, easygoing nature, and his instinctive willingness to show up for others. If someone needed help, Zachary was already there.

His passing leaves a tremendous void in the lives of those who knew and loved him. Zachary will be deeply missed, forever remembered for his kindness, laughter, and the way he could effortlessly turn any room—quiet or chaotic—into a better place to be.
