Beatrice, Mary Piotrowski, age 73, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. Beatrice (Little Bea) was a long-time resident of Waukesha, Wisconsin, where she lived her whole life. She was born on June 17, 1952, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Bea was single her whole life but took her nieces and her nephews under her wing and treated them like they were her own children, spoiling each of them and making them feel very special. She graduated from Waukesha South campus in 1971. She worked and retired from Toys “R” Us in Brookfield, where she proudly worked and served for over 21 years. Her hobbies included walking, shopping, occasional travel and occasional casino visits with her friends. She was a fan of Elvis Presley music and movies. Her nieces and her nephews were her pride and her joy. She would always remember all their special days and accomplishments and would talk about them. She would take pride in always trying to be the first to remember special or important dates and so that she could remind you of them first. Bea had a contagious laugh, she didn’t have a large following of close friends, but once she considered you, her friend, you were her friend for life. She would always have your back and everything. Survived by her siblings Louann (Larry) Shanklin of Waukesha, William M. (Mary) Piotrowski of Waukesha. Nieces Nichole Shanklin Yamada (Kevin) of Texas; Amanda Piotrowski, Waukesha; Nephews: Larry Jr. Shanklin (Kristi) of Waukesha, Gabriel Piotrowski of Waukesha and other great nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Preceded in death by her parents William H. Piotrowski and Beatrice M. Piotrowski (Drayna) Services for Beatrice will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue until the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, S22 W22890 E. Broadway, Waukesha, WI 53186, beginning at 12:30 p.m. A luncheon will follow the burial. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts to a favorite children’s charity, i.e. toys for tots Ronald McDonald house or Saint Jude’s would be appreciated since children and babies were so special to Bea. We would like to thank the staff at Avina (Crossroads of Pewaukee) for their dedication and hard work.
