David Joseph Kramer, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on December 2, 2025, at the age of 74, surrounded by the love of his family. Born at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Denver to John Joseph Kramer and Ida Korean (Price) Kramer, Dave was a proud lifelong Coloradan.

Dave graduated from North High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Colorado, later completing a master’s degree in taxation at the University of Denver. Over his long career, he worked for several firms and as an independent contractor, earning deep respect for his expertise, integrity, and steady dedication.

In 1973, Dave met the love of his life, Sylvia Buchner, at a party—an ordinary moment that became the start of a partnership that lasted more than five decades. The two were married on August 16, 1980, and later that year settled in Centennial, Colorado, where they raised their family. He was a wonderful father who supported every interest and ambition of his children.

In his younger years, Dave was an avid and talented bowler. He competed in numerous leagues into his early 40s and proudly won the “King of Celebrity” tournament at Celebrity Sports Center. He also achieved every bowler’s dream: a perfect 300 game.

Dave had a remarkable gift for bringing joy to others, often through small, heartfelt gestures. He became known for writing clever, personal birthday poems that delighted friends and family year after year. His signature pinky-finger handshake — playful, sincere, and unmistakably Dave — never failed to make people smile. With his lighthearted spirit, quick wit, and seemingly endless well of knowledge, Dave made every room brighter simply by being in it.

Above all else, Dave cherished time spent with those he loved. He was especially fond of spaghetti dinners and proudly called himself a lifelong “chocoholic.” Music was one of his greatest passions; he adored The Beatles and Bob Dylan, and could discuss their songs, lyrics, and histories with boundless enthusiasm. His favorite television show, The Andy Griffith Show, reflected the gentle humor, kindness, and simple goodness he valued — and exemplified in his own life.

Dave is survived by his wife, Sylvia Kramer; his children, Robert Kramer and Michael Kramer; and his brother, Alan and Pamela (Stahler) Kramer. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Joseph Kramer and Ida Korean (Price) Kramer.

A celebration of Dave’s life will be held on January 10, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Kramer home. Family and friends are invited to gather, share stories, and remember the warmth and humor Dave brought to all who knew him.

The family is deeply thankful for the kindness and support shown by so many.

He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
