Margaret “Peg” Wellsman, 95 of Bailey, Colorado, died on November 25, 2025, of natural causes. She was the youngest child of Alice and Timothy Galvin and was born in Malden, Massachusetts.
Beloved wife for 60 years (and high school sweetheart) of Donald (deceased 2011); father of Marion DeWall, Ann Marie (John) Linnehan, Dawn (David) Hughes-King, and Erin (Scott) Whitney; grandmother of Katie (Nick) Aspden, Joey (Miranda) Linnehan, Patrick (Kendall) Linnehan, Keith (Nicole) Hughes, Jr., Brendan Hughes, Michael Murphy, and Ryan Murphy; great-grandmother of Ryan, Natalie, Daniel, and Finnegan.
Her granddaughters, Kendall and Meghan, preceded her in death. Margaret was a devoted wife and mother, who also enjoyed a rich life outside the home as a volunteer and later as a book editor at Fred B. Rothman. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, in Highlands Ranch, CO. Committal will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado 80235.
