James Nelson Hughes II (Jimmy) passed away peacefully at home Tuesday December 16th, after his brave battle with cancer. Up to the end, he maintained kindness, grace, and compassion.

He served in the Army making the rank of Sergeant. He was a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, later returning to serve in the 151st Aviation Unit of the National Guard. Jimmy worked at Square D with many family, including his mother. Jimmy took pride in his work ethic and was employed by FedEx during the holidays, never returning until all his packages were delivered. The animals on his route were always happy to see him come with treats.

When Jimmy was at home he frequently played video games or spent time with his many cherished pets.
