Fidel García Jr. of Ruskin, Florida, born on May 11, 1960, in East Bernard, TX went to his eternal home on December 17, 2025, in Tampa, Florida, due to a extensive battle with Alzheimer’s . He was the beloved son of Fidel Sr. and Sara Garcia.

Pastor Fidel Garcia Jr., will always be remembered as a humble, hard-working man. His journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith and trust in God. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. Fidel was a Pastor and Exhorter of the Church of God, living a life dedicated to bringing many people closer to God. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, not only loving the Lord but loving the service of the Lord.

Pastor Fidel García Jr. was preceded in death by his parents Fidel Sr. and Sara Garcia, brother Casimiro Garcia, sister Mary Ann Garcia and grandson Fidel Garcia IV. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Pastor Maria Lina Garcia daughters Dalila Saenz, Michelle Garcia- Vazquez, Frances Garcia, Valentina Garcia, Damaris Garcia and son, Fidel Garcia III. He is also survived by 3 son-in-laws and 5 loving grandchildren.

Throughout his life in ministry Fidel assisted in the development and organization of many churches. 

Outside of his work in ministry, Pastor Fidel found joy in listening to Christian music and driving on the open road. He loved music that included the accordion.

Those who knew Pastor Fidel will remember him for his infectious smile, his deep-rooted faith in Jesus, and his unwavering commitment to spreading the Gospel.

The Celebration of Life service to honor the life of Pastor Fidel Garcia Jr. will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 9:00 AM at Sun City Center Funeral Home, 1851 Rickenbacker Dr., Sun City Center, Florida 33573 followed by burial at 11:30 AM at the Ruskin Memorial Park, 204 Manatee Dr., Ruskin, Florida 33570.
