Gerald (Jerry) Henry Logue, 83, passed away on December 11th, 2025. Jerry was born on September 24th, 1942, in Chicago, IL, to Edward Charles and Antoinette Clara Logue (born Sacchetti).
Jerry was a long-time resident of Streamwood, IL as well as Englewood, FL until he relocated to Fort Atkinson, WI.
Jerry grew up in Chicago, and after high school he served in the U.S. military branch of Army and was stationed in Richmond, VA. He met his wife Mary (Mickey) Jean Merritt in 1958, and they married in 1964 and had five children.
Despite being from Chicago, he was a devoted Green Bay Packer fan due to spending his childhood summers with relatives in northern Wisconsin. Jerry was also a 30-year employee of Dominick's Finer Foods as a truck driver. Jerry was an avid bowler and spent years on various bowling leagues. During his time in Florida, he was a member of the Eagles club and actively played the sport of bags which he thoroughly enjoyed. Jerry is fondly remembered by friends as being an easy-going friendly guy that got along with everyone, and he maintained lifelong friendships until his passing.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Edward Logue, and Francis (Frank) J Logue. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years; his children, Kimberly (Henry) Chamberlain, Gerald (Jennifer) Logue, Sherrie Bimmerle, James (Gina) Logue, and Teri (Robert) Oliver; his nine grandchildren, Joshua Oliver, Justin Oliver, Paige Logue, Isabella Baddick, Jared Oliver, Jaden Oliver, Mcaleigh Logue, Gerald (j.t) Logue, Ryan Bimmerle; and his two great-grandchildren, Vera and Forrest.
A celebration of life event to honor Jerry will be held at a later date.

We Entrusted Gerald Logue's Care To
Nitardy Funeral Homes - Fort Atkinson
We have proudly served the Southern Wisconsin community for over 90 years, when Hilmar A. Nitardy opened his first funeral home in the area. In 1984, his son Russ knew it was time to offer professional, compassionate services to the Fort Atkinson community, and we constructed a new funeral home to address its needs. We feel so fortunate to be a part of the community, and have grown our family alongside the community for three generations....
