Terry Kathleen Lynch of Largo, Florida, went home to meet her Lord and Savior on December 20, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering devotion that will forever be cherished by her family and all who knew her. Born on May 1, 1952, in Laconia, New Hampshire, Terry was the beloved daughter of Gerald Livingston Taylor and Elizabeth Agnes Taylor (Hughes). She was predeceased by her parents, baby sister Lottie June, and by her brothers, James, Perry, and Gerry Taylor. She is survived by her siblings Gwen Smith, Cheryl Aubut, Greg Taylor, and Kim Taylor, along with many beloved nieces and nephews.

Terry graduated from Inter-Lakes High School and later attended Berkshire Christian College. Her love for Jesus and her family was at the very core of her being, guiding every aspect of her life. She devoted herself to helping others throughout her career and beyond. Terry worked as a CNA II for the New Hampshire State School in Laconia and later retired from the State of New Hampshire Hospital in Concord. She also provided weekend respite care for many of her patients.

A devoted foster mother, Terry, opened her home and heart to children in need and provided respite care to other foster families. She volunteered at St. Vincent’s thrift store and food pantry for several years. After retiring to Florida, she continued her service by babysitting for young mothers in need through her church, teaching children to swim, and working with a special little boy to help him learn to speak. She was an active member of the Moose Association and proudly earned the title of Senior Regent.

Terry’s greatest joys were her family and her home. She was known for her beautiful gardens, lovingly nurtured by her exceptional green thumb. Her faithful companion, Petey, her cherished Maltese, was always by her side. For 28 years, Terry shared a devoted and loving marriage with her husband, John Steven Lynch. Together they raised a family full of love, pride, and cherished memories. After retirement, they moved to Florida to enjoy the sunshine so “Nana” could garden year-round and “Papa” could work on his golf game. Terry was a proud and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children: Sara Rebecka Boughton and her wife, Theresa Darlak of Pinellas Park, Florida, Justin Grant Boughton and his wife,, Jennifer Boughton of Belmont, New Hampshire, Melissa Abby Cotnoir and her husband, Marc Cotnoir of Laconia, New Hampshire, Tina Gioia of Lawrence, Massachusetts, Stephen Lynch and his partner, Jonathan Marlow of Derry, New Hampshire, and Michael Lynch of Derry, New Hampshire. Terry’s grandchildren, who affectionately called her Nana, were John Darlak and Brie Reis, Skylah Ortiz, Hunter Boughton, Ashlynn Dunn, Connor Dunn, Mason Cotnoir, Caden Cotnoir, Lily Lynch, Zoey Lynch, and Aliah Soto. She recently welcomed with great joy the birth of her first great-grandchild, Paisley Darlak.

Known for her loving and compassionate nature, Terry always took extra time to make others feel special. Her quiet wisdom, generosity of spirit, and gentle presence left a lasting imprint on everyone she met. Though she has departed this earthly life, Terry’s spirit will live on through her family and all the lives she touched.  Terry Kathleen Lynch will be profoundly missed and forever cherished.

Rest in sweet peace, good and faithful servant.

A celebration of life will proceed at Loudon Ridge Family Bible Church and burial at Meredith Village Cemetery in the spring of 2026.
