Glenn Arden Britton Jr., age 77, of Cañon City, Colorado, passed away on December 18, 2025.
Glenn was born on July 6, 1948, in Meadville, Pennsylvania. He proudly served his country as a Vietnam Veteran, a chapter of his life that reflected his strength, resilience, and sense of duty.
In his younger years, Glenn worked as a millwright, a trade that suited his hands-on skill and strong work ethic. He was a true horseman and a gifted leather worker, finding purpose and peace in craftsmanship and the outdoors. He was a person who believed in caring for community and did so as a holistic practitioner. Glenn was also deeply involved in the Native American community in earlier years, where he formed meaningful connections and embraced cultural traditions that shaped his life.
He is survived by his daughter, Tanja Britton (Joshua Waseline); grandchildren Alicia Moore, Pandora Symons, Jarret Symons, Ashley Symons; step-grandchildren Natasha Waters, Stephanie Collett, Isabella Collett; and
great-grandsons Everett Wetherhold and Jameson Waters. He is also survived by many family members and friends in Meadville and the Philadelphia area in Pennsylvania, as well as many friends, family and extended family throughout the country.
Glenn will be remembered for his independent spirit, his skilled hands, and the legacy of strength and craftsmanship he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
