Alicia James, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, fiancé, and friend, passed away on December 21, 2025 leaving behind a legacy of love, service, creativity, and faith that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
Alicia was born on December 6, 1978, in Bellevue, Nebraska, to Randall Warren and Joy Burrell Warren. As the daughter of a dedicated United States Air Force serviceman, Alicia spent her childhood as a military child, traveling across the country with her family as her father was stationed at various Air Force bases. Through these early experiences, she developed adaptability, resilience, and a deep appreciation for family—qualities that would guide her throughout her life. Eventually, the family settled in Warner Robins, Georgia, where her father retired, and where Alicia would build a life rooted in love and service.
Alicia was known as a hardworking and devoted individual who took great pride in providing for those she loved. She was employed at Second Baptist Church in Warner Robins, Georgia, where she faithfully served as a custodian. Her diligence, dependability, and quiet dedication were deeply appreciated by those around her. More than a place of employment, Second Baptist Church became her community. There, Alicia found her niche of friends and formed meaningful relationships, especially with the preschool team, who held a special place in her heart.
Creativity was one of Alicia’s many gifts. She was highly skilled in crafts and found joy in crocheting and creating custom cups. Her talents were a reflection of her thoughtful nature, and she delighted in sharing her handmade creations with family and friends.
Above all, Alicia cherished her family. When she was not working, she could most often be found spending quality time with her beloved children, parents, sister, and fiancé. Her love for her children, Micah Warren and Carly Skender, was immeasurable, and being their mother was one of her greatest joys. Alicia’s home was filled with warmth, laughter, and a deep sense of togetherness.
In recent times, Alicia made a profound and personal decision to accept Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She was baptized in faith and boldly shared her testimony, wanting others to know what the Lord had done in her life. Her faith became a source of strength, peace, and renewed purpose, and it was a testament to her spiritual growth and devotion.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving parents, Randall Warren and Joy Burrell Martin; her children, Micah Warren and Carly Skender; her sister, Angela Brandt; and her devoted fiancé, Michael Hull. She also leaves behind extended family, dear friends, and her Second Baptist Church family, all of whom were blessed by her kindness, generosity, and gentle spirit.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 30, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, 701 Carl Vinson Parkway, Warner Robins, GA. 31093. A funeral service honoring Alicia’s life will begin at 4:00 p.m., immediately following the visitation.
Though her earthly journey has ended, Alicia James’s legacy of love, faith, creativity, and service will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her life stands as a beautiful reminder of the impact one soul can make through compassion, dedication, and unwavering love.
