Christopher Paul Williams, 86, passed away December 20, 2025 at his home of over 50 years in Chandler, AZ.

He was born in Boston, MA on October 12, 1939, where he lived with his parents (Paul and Kathryn) and his sister (Anne) until the family moved to Arizona in 1954. Chris graduated from Catalina high school in 1957 and enrolled in the University of Arizona. There he met and married Kay Borchers Williams (1941-2011) while serving in the Arizona State Guard and earning his bachelor's and master’s degrees.  Chris and Kay had two sons – Christopher (Kip) and Stephen Williams.

Chris served with the US Department of Agriculture in the Soil Conservation Service until retirement in 1994. He was a staunch advocate for environmental education and active in the Food, Land and People curriculum initiative. Chris served as a church elder, AWANA Commander and Boy Scout leader.  He loved studying the Bible, a good game of cribbage and RV traveling around the country in retirement. Chris married Karen Boorse in 2012, and they continued traveling and sharing the Gospel with children.

Chris is survived by his wife Karen; sister Anne Riggs of NM; sons Kip of AZ and Steve (Michelle) of WA; grandchildren, Megan, Cade, Natalie, and Amira; and great-granddaughters Halston and Maeve. Chris also leaves behind a niece, cousins, and good friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 10th, 2026 at Chandler Bible Church.
