Amy Aileen Brush, 79, of St. Petersburg passed away December 21, 2025 at Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in the Emergency Department. She was born in Chicago, IL and lived in St. Petersburg since age 5. She graduated from St. Petersburg High School in 1964 where she played the saxophone in the band. She attended Florida State University. She was employed at St. Petersburg College where she did course design. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Aileen Brush, her sister in law Maureen Brush, and her niece Bonnie Maureen Brush. Amy is survived by her brother Robert E. Brush, Jr. M.D., step sister Sidney, nephews Beaumont and Robert III, nieces Delaney and Chloe, nephew Isaac, cousins Bev and Berta, close friend Carol Covington.
Amy loved music and dance and all animals, especially her cats. Her concern for others and her beautiful smile will be remembered by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be arranged in several months.
