John Feriod, age 74, of Glassboro, New Jersey, passed away peacefully by his wife’s side on December 27, 2025.

 

Legacy:

John was a loving husband, proud father, and deeply devoted grandfather whose life was defined by dedication, responsibility, and an unwavering love for his family. A hardworking man, John spent fifty years in the retail industry; where his strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment were evident to all who knew him. He took great pride in providing for his family and leading by example through perseverance and integrity. John was also a faithful servant of the Lord, sharing his love for God through the way he lived—steadfast, humble, and kind.

 

Family:

John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lucy Feriod.

 

He shared nearly forty years of marriage with his beloved wife, Laura. Together, they built a life centered on love, family, faith, and unwavering support for one another. John was a proud father to Kevin (Melissa), Jayme (Josh), Jodi (Kennedy), Maggi (Matt), Shayne (Caitlin), and Tyler (Alyssa), and a deeply devoted Papa to Nylah, Gabriel, Shay, Jayda, Micah, Jase, Tristan, Rosalie, Josiah, Kaleigh, Landon, Brody, Grayson, Parker, Theodore, Easton, Rylan, Norah, and Willa—each of whom brought him immense joy and pride.

 

He will also be sadly missed by his brother, Mike (Sue); his sister, Mary Lou (the late Ronald J. Sears); and several nieces.

 

John’s legacy lives through the family he loved so deeply, the faith he lived by, and the values he instilled through a lifetime of hard work and devotion.

He will be remembered always and missed beyond measure.

Family and friends are invited to attend John’s visitation from 10:00 am to 11:00 am held at Calvary Chapel Gloucester County, located at 5360 NJ-42, Blackwood, NJ 08012 on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am.
