Janis (Whitlock) Clinton of Belleview, Florida, passed away at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2025, surrounded by family. 

Janis was born in Danville, Illinois on May 29, 1949, to John E. and Hazel (Bryant) Whitlock.  She is survived by daughter, Dena Luna, son, Eric Kessler, sister, Dixie Haro, special niece, Victoria, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by her parents.  

Janis attended Stranahan High School, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and worked in the Retail business until retirement.  She enjoyed traveling, crocheting and ceramic painting and liked spending time with her family especially the grandchildren.  

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
