Anna L. Bottema passed away peacefully at her home in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on December 26, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

 

Anna was born in Stanton, Texas. She lived a life grounded in faith, marked by regular church attendance and devoted service to Jesus Christ. Her faith guided her daily life and was a source of strength and comfort to all who knew her.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Josephine and David Griffith; her brother, David Griffith Jr.; her sister, Frances Brown; her grandmother, Frances Medlin; and her beloved husband, Bill Bottema, who passed in 2015.

 

Anna is survived by her loving daughter, Mandie Bottema of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her brother, Dewey Bottema of Guam; and numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

 

Funeral services will be held on January 6, 2026, at 12:00 p.m at Cross Fellowship Church (Palmer Park Campus). Burial will follow immediately at Evergreen Cemetery, located at 1005 Hancock Expressway, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.

 

Anna will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her love for family, and the quiet strength with which she lived her life.
