David Dee Cron born October 24,1955 in Toppenish, Washington. He was the youngest of four children born to Sammy William Cron and Lucille Faye Cole
He died December 15, 2025, in Olympia, Washington from lung cancer.
He graduated from Toppenish High School in 1974 and joined the Marines. He was at times in parts of Asia. After his stint in the Marines, he did various things including working on an oil derrick in Texas.
He then went to Perry Technical Institute and graduated with a Master Electrician certificate. He became a journeyman then passed the administrator’s test. He mostly worked in commercial real estate. His close friend Brian Erickson also graduated with him.
David was proceeded in death by his parents, brothers Randy Cron and Danny (Dan) Cron. He is survived by his sister, Sammie Elaine Cron (Gary) Preble, two nieces, and three nephews. Many of his family and friends know that he was a caring friend.
A celebration of David’s life will be held on Saturday, January 10,2, 2026, at 11:00 at Church of Christ on Boulevard Road SE, Olympia, WA. He will be buried next to his brother Randy and his parents in Zillah, WA
