Hudson Carl Young was born on August 21, 1938, in Scarborough, Tobago, and passed away on December 12, 2025, in Land O’ Lakes, Florida. He was a devoted husband to Patricia Young, a loving father to Larry, Lisa, and Laura, and a caring father-in-law to Stephen and James. As an adoring grandfather, he cherished Christina, Isabella, Peyton, and Tristan. An adventurous chef, he loved experimenting with new recipes and strolling through supermarket aisles in search of treats to delight his family. A passionate cricket fan, he stuck by his team through thick and thin and introduced all his children to tennis, spending countless hours watching matches together. He loved nothing more than talking about his family – their daily lives, challenges, successes, and dreams. Kind and considerate, he dedicated his life to ensuring his family was cared for and knew they were deeply loved. A Memorial service will take place on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 2pm at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends and guests starting at 1pm at the Funeral Home.
