He proudly served his country in both the United States Navy and the United States Air Force, exemplifying commitment and patriotism throughout his military career.
William devoted 45 years of service to Robins Air Force Base, where his strong work ethic and reliability were well known and respected. He was also a longtime member of the Macon Motor Club and greatly enjoyed spending his leisure time fishing, a pastime that brought him peace and joy.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sue Peacock; his parents, General Robert E. Lee Peacock; and his brothers, Harvard Peacock and L. C. Peacock.
