José Antonio Torres Peña was born September 27,1954 to Leonardo Torres and Marcelina Peña in Matamoros Tamaulipas Mexico. He peacefully passed away at his home in Wimauma, Florida on December 27, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.  

 José was a farmer and trucker in Mexico.  He became a resident of the US in 1988 and lived here ever since. He worked in the field in his recent arrival had different jobs until he started his own company as tree trimmer and landscaper. 

He is survived by his wife of 46 years Ofelia Trevino de Torres, 2 daughters, 1 son, 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Viewing services will be Wednesday, January 7th from 10am-2 pm at Sun City Funeral Home.  His graveside service will follow at Lake Wimauma Memorial Gardens.
