Phyllis K. Webb, age 89, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025. She was born on December 3, 1936, in St. Paul, Minnesota, where her life and love for family were firmly rooted.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Tyson and Phyllis Thoemke; her siblings David, Kathleen, Sylvia, John, Mark, and Paul; her beloved husbands, Ray Gadwa and John Webb; and her cherished granddaughter, Sarah.

She is lovingly survived by her brothers Peter and Joe; her children Deborah (Dan Kjellsen), Timothy Gadwa (Laurie), Karen Michaelson, Suzanne (David Genovese), Julie (Tim Clifford), Mary (Cary Milligan), John Webb Jr., Lita Webb, and Chris Webb (Katie). She was a proud grandmother to Michelle, Michael, Lisa, Robert, David M., David G., Stephen, Angela, Jade, and Hayden, and a delighted great-grandmother to Brett, Logan, Robert, Timmothy, Anthony, Braden, Mariella, Claire, Luna, and Josephine. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who were dear to her heart.

Phyllis grew up in St. Paul and attended Holy Spirit Catholic school and St. Joseph’s Academy. She devoted much of her life to raising her family, a role she embraced fully and joyfully. Later, she spent many years working at Barlow Salm—often alongside some of her children—and then at Walmart, where she made lasting friendships and was known for her warm presence and easy smile.

Her faith was an important part of her life, and she dearly loved her church family at St. Peter Church. Phyllis found her greatest joy in spoiling her grandchildren, sharing time with family, and of course, shopping—something she truly mastered and enjoyed.

Phyllis will be remembered for her devotion to family, her strong work ethic, and the quiet ways she showed love every day. She leaves behind generations of family who carry her spirit forward.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at St. Peter’s Church in Mendota, Minnesota, 1405 Sibley Memorial Hwy, with a visitation one hour prior.  Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Disease International in Phyllis’s honor.
