Billie was born on June 20, 1935 in Monticello, KY to Eziekel and Emma Sandlin and is the last of nine children.
In 1957 he married the love of his life, Wilma Sandlin, who passed on December 22, 2022.
Survivors include two children, Bill D. Sandlin (Sue Ann) and J. Dwayne Sandlin (BJ). His great treasure in his life was his three grandchildren, Nikki Spencer (Ashton), Andy Sandlin (Madyson), and EMori Sandlin, who affectionately called him pops.
Billie retired from General Motors after 35 years of service. He was a faithful member of St. Andrews Baptist Church. His faith and family was his greatest joy.
