Molly-Jo Anna (Smith) Larsen
Molly was born on October 25, 1938, to Margaret Sara (Berg) and Henry Waldo Smith in Tacoma WA. She passed away peacefully at the age of 87 in Tumwater Washington.
Molly spent her entire life living in the Roy area and went to high school in Eatonville. She was active in both 4-H and FFA showing dairy cows, she also sang in the choir. Later in life she started breeding and showing dogs, and they became her true passion in life. She was well known for being a lover of animals. She continued to love to sing and would have loved to do karaoke. In her spare time, she loved to read, watch movies (especially musicals) and do crossword puzzles. She shared her love of reading with her children and fostered their quest for knowledge.
On January 09, 1960, she married Charles F Larsen Sr. Together they had four children, and she became a stepmom to Charlie’s 3 children.
Molly’s love of showing and breeding dogs led her to a long career as a dog groomer, which she loved, it is also how she met some of her best friends.
She is proceeded in death by her husband of 53 years Charles F Larsen Sr., her mom Margaret Larsen, dad Waldo Smith, stepfather Albert Larsen, son Andrew James Larsen, stepson Charles F Larsen Jr., stepson Larry Larsen, sister Marge Delaney and daughter in law Robyn Larsen.
She is survived by her son David Larsen of Roy, son Mike Larsen of Puyallup, daughter Melissa of Graham, daughter Cindy Cain (Jim) of Rochester, her stepdaughter Margie Westover, nieces Elizabeth Knutson and Susan Rogers and nephew Daniel Fallstrom. She also leaves behind 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
May she rest in peace
