Ted E. Dzien, aged 93, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, in Brooksville, Florida. Born on October 22, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois,
Ted was a dedicated husband, loving father, and devoted grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife of 72 years, Delores M. Dzien; his son, David A. Dzien; and his cherished grandsons, David A. Dzien Jr. and Michael R. Dzien (Lea Dzien). Ted was preceded in death by his son, Thomas "Tom" P. Dzien.
A proud Army Veteran, Ted exemplified service and commitment throughout his life. His leadership extended to his many years as the Central Area Commander of the American Legion, where he was revered by his peers and community for his dedication to veterans and their families. In the construction industry, Ted worked as a skilled Brick Mason, leaving a legacy of craftsmanship that stands as a testament to his hard work and determination. Ted's presence and contributions in both military and civilian life were marked by integrity, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved.
A graveside service with funeral honors will be held for Ted at a date and time yet to be determined. Further updates will be provided as arrangements are finalized.
As family and friends gather to remember Ted’s life, we honor a man who dedicated himself to both his country and his family, a man whose spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to know him.
