Bradley Keith Reid, 54, of Columbia, SC passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026. He was born on May 25, 1971 in Atlanta, Ga. He was the son of the late Jerry Alan Reid, Sr. and Donna Turner Reid. Bradley grew up in Greenville, SC where he attended Riverside High School before moving to Columbia, SC and graduating from Irmo High School. Bradley went on to attend Anderson College and served in the United States Army. He worked in the hospitality industry for most of his life where his charm and wit always left an impression with the customers he served. Bradley was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching his beloved Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves. He enjoyed spending time at the lake whether it be swimming or fishing. He loved all kinds of music and was very interested in history and geography. In addition, he was fascinated with quizzes and loved watching Jeopardy to test his knowledge as well as playing card games. He had a love for animals which was apparent of his kind heart. His appreciation of the outdoors shined through with his willingness to always help anyone with projects in their yard.

 

Bradley is survived by his mother, Donna Turner Reid; siblings Jerry Alan Reid, Jr of Atlanta, Ga, and Kimberly Reid Chamberlain (Ryan) of Lexington, SC; longtime companion Gaby Linares of Gilbert, SC; and a host of cousins. He is predeceased by his father Jerry Alan Reid, Sr, grandfather Reginald “Reggie” Reid, grandmother Evelyn Reeves Reid, uncle Frank Reid, aunt Barbara Turner, aunt Nancy Caccetta and many great-aunts and great-uncles.

 

The family finds comfort knowing he is now in peace with his father, grandparents, aunts and uncle. A private family service will be held at Woodridge Memorial Park & Funeral Home on January 7, 2026.
