Barbara McAdam(81), born on March 31, 1944, in Kalamazoo, MI, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2026, in Warner Robins, Georgia. She was the beloved daughter of Charles and Delores Landells, a cherished wife to (RET)(USAF)Dennis McAdam until his passing in 2023.
Throughout her life, Barbara exemplified kindness and warmth, touching the lives of everyone she met. She dedicated many years to serving her community through her career in Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base, and various offices in Warner Robins where she excelled in accounting. Her commitment and work ethic were admired by many.
Barbara is survived by her sister Geraldine Bub (86), son John and her daughter-in-law Suzanne Cooper of Warner Robins. She was also a caring mother to step-son Sean McAdam, an adoring aunt to her nephew, Michael Landells, and her niece Sandy Manifold, and delighted in the joy of her family, which included four grandchildren, two step-children and nine great-grandchildren and a whole bunch of kin folk. Preceded in death by her husband Dennis Mcadam and Daughter Sheri Cooper and her 2 brothers .
Barbara's home was as lively as her heart, where she shared countless moments of joy with her beloved dog Paisley and her cat Socks.
Family and friends are invited to remember and celebrate Barbara's life with visitation at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on 12Jan2026, a graveside service will be at Parkway Memorial Gardens on 13 Jan 2026.
Barbara's gentle spirit and love for those around her will be profoundly missed, yet her legacy of kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
