Memorial Service scheduled for Friday 1/23/2026 at 1pm at Vessey Funeral Service located at 8760 6th Street, Wellington, CO 80549

From an early age, Patti’s passion for science and animals was evident. As a child, she was actively involved in 4-H, where her love for learning and hands-on exploration flourished.

Patti attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins, where she met her future husband, Arthur. They were married in 1990 and later welcomed their daughter, Bonnie, in 1993.

Patti dedicated more than twenty years of service to the USDA, including work with the Center for Epidemiology and Animal Health.

Beyond her career, Patti found joy in music, animals, and the simple beauty of learning something new. She was a lifelong lover of science and discovery, always eager to     understand how the world worked and to share that wonder with others.

Patti is survived by her daughter, Bonnie; her husband, Arthur; her sister, Kimberly; and her four grandchildren, Kayden, Alianna,  Damian, and Grayson.

Patti will be remembered for her brilliant mind, her love of learning, and the quiet impact she made on those fortunate enough to know her.
