Mary Poole was born in Eau Gallie, Florida on August 11, 1949. After graduating from Eau Gallie High School, Mary moved to Washington D.C. It was there that she met the love of her life, George. Their journey took them to Connecticut where they raised their three boys, George, Tom, and Russell. Upon retirement from the Fairfield School System, where Mary worked as a kindergarten aid, Mary moved back to Florida to be close to her family, especially her best friend and Mother, Isabelle (Mema). Mary was a devout Catholic, and a cancer survivor. Mary spent her time volunteering at Daily Bread and St. Vincent Du Paul. Mary also had a love for the beach and the only thing she loved more was her family. Mary is predeceased by her parents: Curtis and Isabelle Jones, her brother Russell and her beloved son Tom. Mary is survived by her husband George, her sons George (Anna) and Russell (Cynthia), sisters Julia and Arlene, Grandchildren Edward, Matthew, Katie, Toby, Tommy and George, and her great granddaughter Emmy.
Visitation will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Community, 3050 N. Highway A1A, Indialantic, Florida on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 10:30 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Inurnment will take place in Holy Name of Jesus Memorial Gardens following the Funeral Mass.
