Ian Traquair Ball, 85, of Woodbury, MN passed away at home on December 19, 2025. Ian earned his PhD in political science at Indiana University in 1968, followed by his law degree at Indiana University Law School in 1978, and began his solo bankruptcy practice in 1987. Ian is survived by his sister, Christina Floyd, his wife, Margaret Ball, daughter, Christina Ball, and son-in-law, Brian Smith. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 1 to 3 pm at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Avenue, St. Paul, MN.
