Kelly Louise Greaves, 61, passed away on December 16, 2025, in Tumwater, Washington. She was born on March 4, 1964, in Portland, Oregon, to Marvin and Susan Dopps, who preceded her in death.

Kelly was a lifelong resident of Thurston County. She moved to the area in 1977 at the age of 13 and made it her home for the next 48 years. She graduated from Timberline High School, Class of 1982, and later attended Trend Business College. Kelly devoted over 30 years of service to the State of Washington as a Legal Assistant III with the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals, where she was known for her dedication, professionalism, and reliability.

Kelly was a member of Capital Christian Center since 1994, where she found community and fellowship. She had a gift for making friends everywhere she went and was known for her cheerful spirit, generosity, and kind heart.

She loved sewing, crafting, cooking, and spending time with her family. Although she did not have children of her own, Kelly deeply loved all of her nieces and nephews and was a devoted presence in their lives. She was an especially joyful gift giver and would do anything for her nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, whom she adored.

Kelly is survived by her sisters, Kristy Thurman of Lacey and Kimberly Krause of Tumwater; her nephews, Ryan Krause and Michael Krause, both of Tumwater; and her nieces, Sarah Thurman of Olympia, Melissa Anaya of Lacey, Catelin Thurman of Federal Way, Ariel Haider of Olympia, and Eden Olcott of Lacey. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 8th at 2:00 p.m. at Capital Christian Center, 4431 Martin Way E, Olympia, Washington 98516.
