We will love and remember always Anthony J. Santangelo whose wit and charm would brighten up a room.

Tony was 92 and passed on December 31, 2025, and was born on 11-22-33.  A unique birthday for a special person.

He was a New Yorker and resided in the Villages, Florida for the past 25 plus years.

He was blessed with many talents and excelled at all of them.  Over the years, he entertained and would sing his way into earning the title of “Dean Martin” of the Villages, where he and his wife had a hand in making the shows a success.

He had a real gift as an artist.  Self-taught, he created oil paintings of westerns and wild animals and then turned his focus to breathing new life into superheroes.

Tony was an all-around athlete.  He was unbeatable in his younger days in stickball which he enjoyed. Then turned to being unquestionably a superstar on many ball teams, because he was so passionate about the sport.

He is survived by his beautiful. loving wife Anna, with whom he shared 69 wonderful years of marriage. She has always supported and encouraged him in all he did.  She was his most devoted confidant.  They cherished each other.

Tony was a family man and is also survived by his two daughters, Tammy Santangelo and Valory (Michael) DeVico

Three grandsons, Anthony Santangelo, Michael (Heidi) DeVico and Matthew (Corby) DeVico

Five great grandsons and one great granddaughter

He is survived by his two sisters Marianne (Nicholas)Socci and Norma (Daniel) Massaroni and preceded in death by his brother Santo Santangelo, his mother Josephine Santangelo and his father Alfred Santangelo.

Tony was a patriotic, handsome, intelligent, gentle, good man and loved by many.

He leaves us with so many treasured moments. His presence is already missed, and he will always remain in our hearts forever.
