David (Dave) Frederick Connolly, 83, of Clifton Park, NY, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026 at home with his wife and daughter, Sarah, at his side from an ongoing illness. Raised in Johnstown, NY, he later moved to Clifton Park, NY. 

For many years Dave was a dedicated dental supplier. Every order was a rush order and no matter what time of day, he always had time for his dental clients, which many he saw from the time their office was opened to the day they retired. 

Dave loved Sacandaga and enjoyed a camp on the lake with his family. He played golf and, in the winter, looked forward to a game of golf on PlayStation with his wife and daughter Sarah every night in the winter months. Quality family time, as he put it. He and his wife enjoyed working in the yard and as Dave always said, "make it look like a park." His pets Buddy, Carley and Luna were never far behind him, helping whether he needed it or not. LaQuiesta, his umbrella cockatoo, always found his shoulder to perch on and cuddle. 

Those who knew him always saw a big grin on his face. People he met for the time immediately felt comfortable because he made you feel like you knew him all your life. 

David is predeceased by his mother, Shirley Connolly, and father Phil Connolly of Johnstown, as well as a brother Timothy Connolly of Hudson Falls. 

He is survived by his wife Anna Marie Connolly, two daughters, a son, and four grandchildren. 

The family has chosen to have services private as they grieve.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in the Spring.
