Tricia Romano, of Woodbury Heights, New Jersey, passed away on January 7. 2026, at the age of 55. Born on June 23, 1970, Tricia filled the world around her with color, laughter, and unmistakable love. Daughter of the late John and Mary Romano. Dear sister of the late Mary Watson, Donna Aquilino, Lisa Roach, two brothers, her Brother-in-law Mike Aquilino, many Nieces, Nephews, and their beautiful children. She often spoke of her “Mommy” and Darren lovingly, always having a story to share.
Tricia had a gift for making ordinary moments fun. She loved to cook and sharing all of her “Mommy’s” favorites like potato salad, vegetable soup, chicken romano, and the best Crab Gravy ever. Her favorite thing was Pizza and Italian food. Her laugh was the kind that lit up a room, and she never missed a chance to tell you she loved you. Creativity was an important form of expression for her. She loved to “bedazzle” things, painting, gardening, and bringing joy to others through her imagination.
Animals held a very special place in her heart. Over the years, she cared for so many furry little friends, each one adored and cherished. They were like her family, and she treated them with the same warmth and devotion she gave to everyone in her life. Tricia had a Pet Sitting business called “Mary Puppins” which was truly inspired through her love for animals.
Tricia’s kindness, humor, and loving spirit leave a lasting imprint on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love she gave so freely.
Relatives and friends are invited to attender her viewing on Thursday, January 15, 2026 from 10am until 12 noon. Words of Remembrance will be spoken at the conclusion of the visitation.
