Priscilla Thomson entered the external embrace of the lord Jesus on Tuesday December 23, 2025, with her family by her side. Priscilla was born in Passaic, NJ on June 20, 1933. She survives her loving husband William of 70 years of Marriage. Her 3 children are Debra Thomson, Patrick Allen, her partner, Susan Thomson, William Thomson, Phyllis his wife. 2 Grandchildren Luke Thomson, Camryn his wife. Ryan Thomson, Amanda his wife. 2 great grandchildren William R Thomson IV and Lyla Thomson. Barbara Dent her cousin.
Pris was preceded by her father Alvaris Drew and 2nd wife Natalie, her mother Eleanor Royle and grandson William R Thomson III.
Priscilla worked for Bell Telephone for many years, married in Passaic New Jersey at the First Presbyterian Church. After a few years they moved to Point Pleasant, NJ She was involved with a chapter of Deborah Hospital and President of the Point Pleasant Women’s Club. Priscilla was also involved with the Boy and Girl Scouts, she was a troop leader for years with the girl scouts and was on the council in Monmouth County. They had 2 camp sites which she helped regularly.
In 1994 Pris and Bill retired to Punta Gorda FL. Pris got involved in the women’s club and the PGI gift store. She was also on board of the Charlotte Chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association. She enjoyed bowling,boating,fishing and crafts.
Pris was also involved in the church (Burnt Store Presbyterian) as a deacon and on the evangelist committee for 20 years. Pris was a devoted Mother and friend to many that knew her.
A memorial service will be held at:
Burnt Store Presbyterian Church on January 17th at 11 am in celebration of her life
The service can be live streamed on the church’s web site bspconline.org
Luncheon to follow service in the churches Stewart Hall
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Burnt Store Presbyterian Church.
