Jane Martorelli, 98, of Gloversville passed away peacefully on Friday, January 9, 2026 with her loving son Guy by her side. She was born December 27, 1927 in Gloversville. She was the beloved daughter to Pietro "Peter" and Ermelinda Raso. On September 25, 1949 she married Leonard P. Martorelli, and they were married until his passing in 2011. Together they shared just short of sixty-two wonderful years together. 

Jane was a lifelong resident of Gloversville. She attended Gloversville High School and worked as a Glove Maker soon after. 

She enjoyed golfing with her family and friends. Jane, Leonard, and Guy enjoyed many winters in Venice, Florida. She will be very sadly missed by many. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Jane was predeceased by her sisters Josephine Caporossi and Carmella D'Errico, sister-in-law Joan Cangiano Vincent, and sister-in-law Norma Donofrio. 

Jane is survived by her son Guy Martorelli, nieces Carmella (Bill) Heaphy of Latham, Emily (Brian) Jennings of Saratoga, Mary Jane D'Errico (Jim Izzo) of Gloversville, Carmella (Tim) Best of Caroga Lake, Teresa (George) Bevington of Johnstown, and Cheryl D. Kendrick, a nephew Lawrence Donofrio, as well as several great nieces and great nephews. 

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, January 16, 2026 at Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Funeral Home 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a service to take place at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Per Jane's wishes, there will be a mass and burial in late spring 2026.
