Venice - Agostino “Gus” Busterna passed away January 9, 2026 at the age of 73.  He was born in New York on July 11, 1952, the eldest son of Jack and Louise Busterna. Gus was raised in Northport, NY. He resided in Florida since his early 20s, working as a commercial fisherman in the Big Pine Area and a Landscaper in the Bonita Bay area until his retirement. He was Preceded in death by his brother Jack Paul, father Jack Joseph, and wife Joyce. He is survived by his mother Louise, sister Ann, brothers James and Michael. He was a friend to anyone he met, loved by many and he will be missed by all who knew him. A private family service will be held at the Farley Funeral Home in Venice. Donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society.
