Nicholas Scott Multer, age 35, passed away unexpectedly while at work due to a berry aneurysm.

Nicholas was born on October 10, 1990, in San Mateo, California. He had lived in Half Moon Bay, Santa Cruz, San Luis Obispo and San Jose, California.

Nick was a devoted son, brother, cousin, and friend, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He brought laughter, love, and kindness into the lives of his family and friends. He was well respected in his career as a Billing Coordinator for Security Industry Specialists, where he worked for over 10 years, earning the trust and appreciation of his colleagues through his dedication and reliability.

Nick had a deep love for gaming—not just for the games themselves, but for the friendships, challenges, and stories they created. Known to many friends as “Multer,” he formed lasting bonds through his passion and generosity of spirit.

Nick is survived by his loving parents, Charlotte and David Multer; his sister, Monica Multer, his brother, Gabe Multer, his grandmother, Phoebe Ward; his aunts, Lynda Benedetto, Karen Hoyem, Valri Peyser, his uncles, Scott Multer, Gordon Hoyem, George Hoyem, and many cherished cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gordon and Charlotte Hoyem, and Ira and Karen Multer.

A celebration of life was held November 1, 2025 at Pasatiempo Inn where Nicholas grew up and was surrounded by relatives and friends.

Gone too soon, Nicholas will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
