When Tomorrow Starts Without Me
When tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand that an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand. The angel said my place was ready in Heaven far above and that I’d have to leave behind all those I dearly love. But when I walked through Heaven’s Gates, I felt so much at home, for God looked down, smiled at me, and told me, “Welcome home.” So, when tomorrow starts without me, don’t think we’re far apart, for every time you think of me, I’m right there in your heart. By David Romano
In Loving memory, Kathleen (Kay) Marie Iacovetta (Blue) passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 90 with her family and friends by her side. She was born in Erie, PA to the late Edgido and Catherine Santone on November 28, 1934. After finishing her schooling at Strong Vincent High School, she worked for the former Marx Toys. In 1970, she moved to Tucson, Arizona where she settled for the rest of her life.
Kathleen was a talented organist who played by ear. She appreciated great nostalgic music, enjoyed dancing the jitterbug, and watching horror movies and musicals. Furthermore, she took meticulous care of her appearance and household along with being a fabulous cook and Italian baker. Her favorite pastimes were getting manicures, pedicures and teaching the grandkids how to cook. She leaves behind her recipes for the next generation, along with beautiful memories. Kathleen tirelessly supported her family by devoting her life to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the matriarch of the family who believed whole-heartedly in the traditional holiday gatherings, to ensure quality time was spent with family. She will be wonderfully remembered as the glue that held our family together.
Kathleen is survived by her husband of 42 years, Michael Anthony Iacovetta, Sr., her three children and their spouses: Dale Garn, Lynn and Michael Taylor, and Kristin Strand and stepchildren Joseph and Carmella Iacovetta and Michael Iacovetta, Jr. She also is survived by a host of grandchildren, step grandchildren, and great grandchildren: Benjamin and April Weaver, Stephanie Weaver, Julia Strand, Brandon and Katlyn Taylor, Kayla Fronzaglia and Skyler Strand; Mark Iacovetta, Gregory Iacovetta, Robert Iacovetta, and Dominic
Iacovetta; Jaiden Williamson, Christian Williamson, Gia Fronzaglia, Cora Fronzaglia, Briella Taylor, Braxton Taylor, Edmond Weaver, Lincoln Weaver and extended family, Gene Garn, Ron Insalaca, and friends.
