Jeremy E. Trujillo, age 51, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away at home on January 7, 2026.
Jeremy was born to Frank and Anita Trujillo Sr. and was a devoted son, father, brother, and companion. In recent years, he worked as a maintenance worker at Pikes Peak Library district, where he was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and kind nature. Jeremy took pride in his work and the role he played in serving his community.
Family was the center of Jeremy’s life. He cherished time spent with his children and loved watching his sons wrestle. He enjoyed camping, traveling, and exploring the world, especially alongside his beloved girlfriend and companion, Lisa Ward. A loyal Denver Broncos fan, Jeremy could often be found cheering on his team with enthusiasm and pride. His faith as a Catholic was an important part of his life and guided him throughout the years.
Jeremy is survived by his parents, Frank and Anita Trujillo Sr.; his siblings, Frank (Katherine) Trujillo Jr. and Edward Trujillo; his children, Layla, Samson, and Joshua Trujillo; his loving companion, Lisa Ward; 5 nieces, 2 nephews and several great nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Catholic funeral Mass and services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, located at 2030 W. Colorado Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80904, on January 28th, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A reception will immediately follow the services.
Jeremy’s legacy of love, devotion to family, and quiet strength will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
