Larry William Cleveland, age 80, of Olympia, Washington, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026, just days before his 81st birthday, surrounded by the love of his family.  Born on January 18, 1945 in Union City, TN, Larry lived a life rich with music, laughter, and a deep devotion to those he held dear.

Music was one of Larry’s greatest joys. Once a member of a band called The Five Pages, he channeled his passion for music to bring joy to many. He enjoyed an active and varied lifestyle, balancing time at the gym with playing a friendly game of poker at the local casino — always accompanied by his gentle humor, warm smile, and kind spirit.

Larry dedicated 23 years of faithful service to Providence Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska, where he worked as a cook, baker, and dietary aide. Through his work, he nourished not only bodies but also hearts, leaving a lasting impression on coworkers and patients alike.

On May 14, 1994, Larry married his high school sweetheart, Sandra Kay Lyman, beginning a beautiful chapter of enduring love and companionship. Together they built a life grounded in loyalty, laughter, and unwavering support. Larry was a devoted husband and a beloved family man, known for his compassionate heart and his remarkable ability to make others feel valued and at ease.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy Cleveland and Ella Clark Cleveland; his sister, Icie Watkins; and his brother, Tom Cleveland. He leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on through his wife, Sandra; his stepdaughter, Rhonda Nutt; his cherished granddaughter, Taylor Nutt; and the many family members and friends who were blessed to know and love him.

Larry will be remembered for his kindness, his love of music, and the quiet, steady presence he offered to everyone around him. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched.
