June Diane McWilliams was born on June 19th, 1954 and passed on January 3rd, 2026. She died of heart failure after a long illness.

June had a good life. She was an accomplished musician, photographer, artist, wood turner, and athlete. She earned a black belt in Tai Kwon Do and bicycled "Ride the Rockies." She enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking, bicycling and sailing her sail boat.

In the world of work, June started out as a cytotechnologist, screening cancer cells. She then became an electrical engineer during a time when there were few women in her classes and in the profession.

June was also a lover of rescued dogs, having adopted many in her lifetime.

June is survived by a sister, Joy Massey, a nephew, Zane Hylton, an uncle, four grand nephews and nieces, and her best friend Lynette Loken. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Jacqueline (Chagnon) Hill and James McWilliams, a sister, Jana McWilliams, and a nephew, Nathan Cody Hylton.

She is loved and will be dearly missed by her many friends and family. May she rest in peace ❤️
