Kathy Abigail Endicott passed away on January 1st, 2026, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Our beloved Kathy was born in Panama City, Panama, on January 20th, 1994, and would have turned 32 this year. She was the cherished daughter of Lincoln and Liliana Endicott, a devoted and caring sister to Caroline “Riley” Endicott of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Elizabeth Thomeczek of Syracuse, Kansas. She also leaves behind her brother-in-law, Tregg Thomeczek, and her beloved niece and nephew, Quinn and Teddy Thomeczek.

As a person, Kathy was deeply compassionate, intelligent, and quietly strong. She had a natural ability to make others feel seen and valued, whether they were close family members, longtime friends, or people she had just met. Kathy was generous with her time, her energy, and her heart. She listened without judgment, offered help without being asked, and showed unwavering loyalty to the people she loved. She laughed loudly, loved passionately, and protected fiercely.

Kathy had a warm spirit, a gentle sense of humor, and a characteristic laugh that put others at ease. She was thoughtful, hardworking, and deeply committed to the people and causes she believed in. As a sister, she was protective and encouraging. As an aunt, she was joyful, attentive, and deeply proud. As a daughter, she was loving and devoted, maintaining strong and meaningful relationships with her family throughout her life. She lit up every room she walked into, breathing life and vivacity into the dullest spaces.

Kathy had a passion for children’s poetry and wrote many of her own pieces. Before her passing, she was writing her own children’s book under the pen name K. Wellbeloved. A posthumous collection of her poetry will be published this year.

“The truth is: sometimes life is strange, unfair, funny, devastating, and wonderful. So, turn the page and look up at the clouds…The most important lesson to take from this collection is to be kind - to others and yourself.” - K. Wellbeloved

Celebration of Life services will take place Saturday, January 31st, 2026 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Colorado Springs School Louisa Performing Arts Center Campus Theatre. In lieu of flowers, the family just requests your presence to celebrate the life and legacy of who Katherine is.
