Danny Vernon Reed, 66, husband of Tammy Faye Corman, passed away Friday, January 16, 2026. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on October 24, 1959 to the late Lois Ann Tupts and Roland Thomas Reed. Mr. Reed was a farmer and worked for Atlas Horse Farm.
In his free time, Mr. Reed enjoyed fishing, watching sports, and cherishing moments spent with his family.
Besides his wife, Tammy, those left to cherish his memory includes his daughter, Amy Barnes (Donald Hamblin); sons, John (Tanya) Reed, Joey Reed, Timothy (Barbara) Reed; sisters, Rita Simpson, Betty “Hootie” (John) Boh, Janice (George) Waford; brothers, Tom Reed, Wesley Reed; sister in law, Sue Reed; grandchildren, Justin Cooper, Corey (Bree) Barnes, Haley Barnes, Trenton Cooper, Olivia Reed, Kinley Reed; and five great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Reed is preceded in death by his sister, Judy Wheeler; and brothers, Larry and Mark Reed.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2026 from 6-8pm at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. The funeral service will then take place Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 12pm at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Bill Bales followed by a graveside service at Wilmore Cemetery.
