Frances D. Jolin, born Frances Davis on December 30, 1951, in Tampa, Florida, was a beacon of kindness and joy in the lives of everyone who knew her. She peacefully passed away on January 15, 2026, in Warner Robins, Georgia, leaving behind a loving family and a legacy of warmth and inspiration.
Frances dedicated her life to her family, serving as a devoted wife to her husband, Wayne F. Jolin, and a cherished mother to her five children: Janice (Randy) Cobb, Jerry (Veronica) Humphrey, Michele (Craig) Casey, David (Jerri Lynn) Ramsay, and Phillip (Anna) Jolin. Her family was her pride and joy, reflected in the love she poured into being a grandmother to 16 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to 15 great-grandchildren. Frances was one in a large family, and she shared a special bond with her brothers and sisters—Lorna Bramblett, Edward Crosby, Sherman Rankin, Dee Malone, Elliott Millican, Don Millican, and Sandy Crowe. Frances was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Charles Davis and Elizabeth Key Millican, and the kind-hearted DY Millican, who raised her with love.
An extraordinarily kind soul, Frances had a passion for simple pleasures that brought smiles to those around her. She loved crocheting, working on puzzles, and creating cozy tie blankets that brought warmth to her family. Baking, especially with her “girls”—was a favorite activity, and she delighted in sharing her culinary creations with loved ones. A true collector at heart, she enjoyed gathering unique items, while her fondness for Disney movies and Hallmark films brought her many a joyful evening. Frances also had a special love for white tigers and could often be found bird watching or making a quick trip to Dollar General, each visit an adventure in finding the next delightful treasure.
A memorial gathering to celebrate Frances's beautiful life will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. All who knew her are invited to share memories and reflect on the impact she made in their lives. Frances D. Jolin leaves behind a legacy defined by love, compassion, and unwavering support for her family. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to call her mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
