Donald W. Fulmer, 79, of The Villages, Florida passed away on January 15th, 2026, in Ocala, Florida

 Donald was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio to Wayne and Fern Fulmer on July 12, 1946.

He went to school in Bellefontaine, Ohio. He graduated from THE Ohio State University. He married Roberta Fulmer on July 8, 2000, in Anniston, Alabama. He worked in supervisory positions for several manufacturing companies. He was a veteran of the Vietnam war. He served in the army and was awarded the National Defense Service Metal, Vietnam Service Metal, Combat Infantry Badge, Army commendation Medal (1st oak leaf Cluster) Republic of Vietnam, Metal w/60 devices, 2  overseas bars, Vietnam cross of Gallantry, Bronze Star Metal. He was a major when he left the army after 4 years.   

He was a member of the American legion as well as a Mason. He enjoyed reading and trap shooting. Donald was preceded in death by his Mother Fern, Father Wayne and daughter Mindi.   

Donald is survived by his wife Roberta, daughter Renee’ Lewis, Step-daughter, Amy Travis, Step-son Brett Hilliker, brother Jim Fulmer, grandchildren, Daniel Lewis, Brittany Lewis, Courtney Lewis, Olivia Mann, Hunter Hilliker, Christofer Goldschmidt, Nicholas Goldschmidt, great-grandchildren Lucas Mann, Alex Mann, Riley Mann and Charlie Mann.   

Funeral services will be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors.
