Christina (Tina) Brooks (Kobos), 79 years old, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 14, 2026. She was born in Utica, NY, on October 3, 1946.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Sophie Kobos of Utica New York.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Richard Brooks, her two daughters, Tina (Bill) Gretzinger and Jennifer (Mark) Brooks. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amanda (Graig) Baxter, Mollie (Eddie) Avery, Lauren (Ken) Mulvey and Jackson Gretzinger.

Tina leaves behind 6 great grandchildren who she loved to talk about and shop for: Evelyn, Eleanor, Samuel, and Owen Baxter, as well as Charlotte and Emerson Rogers.

She is also survived by her sister, Susan Kobos.

Tina will be missed by her husband, Richard, her family, as well as her friends in New York and Florida. Her memory will live on in the stories we tell and the love we share.

There will be no formal service at this time, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
