Floyd Wayne Aldridge, 78, husband of Beverly Blankenship Aldridge, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026 surrounded by his family. He was born in Shelbyville on February 5, 1947 to the late William Floyd and Mary Frances Bohannon Aldridge. Floyd retired from Bendix and was a Veteran of the US Army, having served in Vietnam. He was a member of West Frankfort Church of God and loved everything to do with being outdoors, especially fishing.
In addition to his wife of 33 years, he is survived by his daughters, Patricia Humphrey (Todd), Sharon Campbell, and Stephanie Harvey; his son, Robert Tillett (Mary Ann); his sisters, Beverly Hayes (Tommy), Louise McDaniels (Gary), and Judy McIntosh (Don); his 9 grandchildren; as well as his 6 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Aldridge.
Graveside Service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Randy Nation officiating. Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd is in charge of arrangements.
