Kymani Baker, age 18, of Ladson, South Carolina, passed away on January 9, 2026.
Kymani was born on July 25, 2007, in Charleston, South Carolina. He was known for his happy spirit, respectful nature, and beautiful smile that could light up any room. A hard worker with a determined heart, Kymani had recently graduated and was already working two jobs, driven by his goal to build a successful future.
Above all, Kymani deeply loved his family and those closest to him. He carried himself with pride, kindness, and ambition, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Kymani is survived by his loving mother, Samantha Baker; his father, Freeman Hester; his girlfriend, Jordan; and a large circle of family members and friends who cherished him dearly.
Kymani's life, though far too short, was filled with love, purpose, and promise. He will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 23, 2026, at Simplicity Funeral Home, located at 281 Treeland Drive, Suite C, Ladson, South Carolina 29456.
