Henry J. “Jeness” Saunders IV passed away on December 7, 2025, leaving behind a legacy defined by integrity, quiet strength, and devotion to those he loved. Born on September 8, 1951, Henry lived a life marked by purpose, compassion, and a deep sense of responsibility to his family and community. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rennae Saunders, his daughter, April, and her husband, Roman Gibson, his grandsons, Benjamin and Andrew; his sister, Candace; and extended family members and friends. Henry served as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force. He demonstrated commitment, courage, and loyalty. Henry will be remembered for his warm presence, his thoughtful nature, and the way he made others feel seen and valued. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and dignity. A celebration of Henry’s life, where family and friends will gather to honor his journey, will be held on Tuesday, January 27th, at Charis Christian Center located at 10285 Federal Dr building C, Colorado Springs, CO 80908 at 1:30 pm. The burial will be at a later date. May he rest in peace, and may his memory be a blessing to all who loved him.
