Terry Ted Williams, 76, of Lutz, Florida passed away January 20, 2026. Ted was born February 12, 1949, in Austell, Georgia. He was the son of Francis Louise Smith. Ted loved traveling with his wife and family. His goal was to take his family to as many national parks as he could. One of his favorite places to visit was the Great Smoky Mountains, Cades Cove and Townsend. He also loved hunting, fishing and golf. He went hunting as often as he could and was on several golf leagues.

Ted worked for G Ted‘s until it became Verizon. He was a Project Engineer for 25 years until he retired in 2009.Before he took the job with G Ted‘s, he had his own successful air-conditioning business in Pinellas Park.Ted had many friends and loved to be around them. He loved reminiscing and telling stories. He had so much knowledge and could keep your attention on any subject.

Ted is survived by his loving wife Carol of 51 plus years; his son, Matt (Stephanie); his daughter, Tiffany; two granddaughters, Trinity and Lyla; his sister, Joyce Hutcheson; his brother Richard Williams; and stepfather Al Fizz.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother Gene Coggins.

A Celebration of Life service will take place on Wednesday January 28, 2026, at 11am at First Baptist Church of Lutz.
