Mary Ann (Montoya) Gehling was born on November 8, 1943 in Denver, Colorado and passed away on January 7, 2026 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was 82 years old.

At the heart of Mary Ann’s life was her devotion to family. She shared a long and loving marriage with her husband, Richard Gehling. Together they raised two children: their son Robert and daughter Staci. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Tanner, Zachary, Aeden, Meagan, Liam, and Rainey. Each grandchild held a special place in her heart and brought joy to her days. Mary Ann also welcomed her daughter-in-law Pam Gehling and grand-daughter-in-law Emily Gehling into the family.

Mary Ann pursued being a beautician early in life and she was also a dedicated stay-at-home mother to her two children.  Mary Ann found joy in the simple pleasures of life— baking, cooking, crafting, reading, writing, history, giving to others, and spending time with family.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00pm on February 3, 2026 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. A Celebration of Life will follow the service at Stonehaven Event Center.
